Functional Safety Engineer

The Functional Safety Engineer will be responsible for the successful development and implementation of safety related systems and processes.

• Perform Functional Safety Analysis -HARA, DFMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA as per ISO 26262 standards during all project phases.
• Develop and maintain a safety plan to meet customer program timing.
• Derive safety requirements and create functional and technical safety concepts.
• Collaborate with the functional safety manager, development team, project managers, customers and suppliers on aspects of functional safety.
• Conduct training and technical reviews with project teams to ensure functional safety requirements are being met throughout product development cycles.
• Other duties as required by the supervisor.

Required Skills: Degree Required Basic Qualification: Knowledge of -HARA, DFMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA Knowledge of- ISO 26262 standards Additional Skills: Knowledge of -HARA, DFMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA Knowledge of- ISO 26262 standards -Fully Remote -Rolling contract that extends each year.
