Responsibilities Work with classroom instructors and staff to provide targeted teaching and support to students, and general support for all students in the school. Assist with classroom behavior management, report concerns to appropriate staff, implement and maintain behavioral program policies and data. Maintain classroom order and safety, supervise students inside the school setting, and respond to emergency situations. Provide general supervision and interventions to assist students in managing behaviors. Work 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Mon‑Fri, following the school calendar. Maintain a valid driver’s license and be willing and able to provide student transportation using a school van (strongly preferred). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Kinesiology, Health & Wellness or a related field. Experience in teaching/substitute teaching, or desire to teach. Background in security or juvenile justice helpful; military veterans encouraged to apply. Ability to operate tactfully under stress and flexibly adapt to routine changes. Experience with high‑risk special needs students.
